Dehumidifier Usage Recommendations for Different Plant Growth Stages

1. Seedling / Early Growth Stage

  • Recommended Humidity: 65%–75%
  • Usage Tips:
    • Run the dehumidifier at a low setting or intermittently to avoid overly dry air.
    • Pay attention to high nighttime humidity to prevent damping-off diseases.
    • Stability is more important than rapid dehumidification at this stage.

2. Vegetative Growth Stage

  • Recommended Humidity: 55%–65%
  • Usage Tips:
    • Use Auto or Constant Humidity mode to maintain a stable environment.
    • Combine with circulation fans to reduce moisture buildup on leaves.
    • Increase dehumidification slightly at night when humidity tends to rise.

3. Flowering Stage

  • Recommended Humidity: 40%–50%
  • Usage Tips:
    • This is the most critical stage for dehumidifier use.
    • Continuous or high-power mode is recommended to prevent mold and bud rot.
    • Pay special attention to humidity spikes after lights turn off; pre-emptive dehumidification is advised.

4. Late Flowering / Maturation Stage

  • Recommended Humidity: 35%–45%
  • Usage Tips:
    • Maintaining lower humidity helps improve quality and reduce mold risk.
    • Avoid large humidity fluctuations; consistency is more important than pushing extreme low levels.

5. Drying Stage (Post-Harvest)

  • Recommended Humidity: 45%–55%

    • Use Dry mode or low-level continuous dehumidification.
    • Avoid drying too quickly, as it may negatively affect flavor and structure.
    • Ensure humidity and temperature decrease gradually and evenly.
