Mars Hydro After-Sales Policy

1. Return Policy (14-Day Right of Withdrawal)

  • Customers are entitled to return their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
  • To exercise this right, customers must notify us within the withdrawal period.
  • Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
  • If the returned product shows signs of use, missing accessories, damaged packaging, or any condition that prevents resale as new, Mars Hydro reserves the right to deduct a reasonable amount from the refund based on the decreased value of the goods.

2. Mars Hydro Product Warranty

2.1 Coverage

Mars Hydro offers the following commercial warranty coverage (in addition to any mandatory legal guarantee applicable in the customer’s region):

  • LED Grow Lights
  • FC, FC-E, TS, SP Series: 5-year limited warranty.
    • First 2 years: Full coverage (free components, repair service, and shipping).
    • Years 3–5: Limited coverage (free components; repair and shipping costs borne by the customer).
  • SP150, TS600, VG, Adlite Series: 2-year limited warranty.
    • Year 1: Full coverage – free replacement with the same model. If the customer wishes to upgrade, the price difference must be covered.
    • Year 2: Limited coverage – trade-in discount of 30%–50% off on new models.
    • Other Electrical Products
  • Inline duct fans, smart controllers/power strips: 2-year warranty.
    • First 12 months: Full coverage.
    • Months 13–24: Limited coverage – free replacement parts (shipping costs borne by customer). For full product replacement, a depreciation fee of 50%–80% applies.
  • Heat mats, clip-on fans, Humdifier, water pumps (in irrigation kits): 1-year full warranty.
  • Non-Electrical Products (Grow Tents & Accessories)
  • Covered by a 1-year warranty, limited to material or manufacturing defects.
  • Exclusions (not covered):
    • Normal wear and tear (e.g., fabric fading, zipper wear, scratches).
    • Damage caused by improper use, incorrect assembly, modification, or improper storage.
    • Environmental or accidental damage (humidity, mold, pest infestation, fire, flooding, etc.).
  • For non-covered cases, Mars Hydro may provide paid repair or replacement parts.

3. Warranty Service Procedure

To request warranty service, customers must provide:

  1. Order information (order number, purchase platform, and order email).
  2. A detailed description of the issue.
  3. Photos of product labels and packaging (if available).
  4. Photos or videos clearly showing the defect.

Possible solutions include:

  • Free replacement parts.
  • Product repair or replacement with an equivalent model.
  • Refund in cases where repair or replacement is not possible.

4. Special Notes

  • Discontinued products (ECO, PROII, MARSI, MARSII, REFLECTOR, MARSCOB) are no longer covered; replacement parts are unavailable.
  • Grow tents are not covered by extended commercial warranty beyond the stated 1-year coverage.
  • Products may need to be returned for inspection and will only be accepted with a valid Return Request issued by the Mars Hydro solution team.
  • Mars Hydro reserves the right to modify or discontinue this warranty for future purchases without prior notice

5. Substitute Lighting Service

If your plants require continuous lighting and you cannot return your LED grow light immediately, Mars Hydro provides substitute lighting during warranty service:

  • A refundable deposit will be charged.
  • Customers are responsible for round-trip shipping.
  • Substitute lights must be returned within one week after receiving the repaired unit.
  • The deposit will be refunded once the substitute is returned in good condition.

6. Shipments from China

For products shipped directly from China, Mars Hydro provides free replacement parts within 5 years. However, all related costs (shipping, customs, etc.) are the buyer’s responsibility.

[Warranty Provided:]

Subject to the exclusions set forth below, Mars Hydro warrants its LED Grow Lights, inline duct fans, heat mats, etc., to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a fixed duration from the date of shipment from Mars Hydro. Details are listed below:

Most LED grow lights are covered by a five (5) year limited warranty, including:

  • Within (1) year. Full-cover warranty: Free components, free repair service, free shipping costs.
  • (1)-(5) years. Limited warranty: Free components, the buyer is responsible for repair costs and shipping costs.

All inline duct fans and the iHub Smart Power Strip are covered by a two (2) year full-cover warranty.

All heat mats, clip-on fans, the Water Pump (in the drip irrigation kits), and PH (TDS) meters are covered by a one (1) year full-cover warranty.

● Some specific models of LED grow lights: ADlite series, VG series, “TS600” & “SP150” are covered by an EXCEPTIONAL two(2) year limited warranty, including:

  • Within (1) year. Full coverage warranty. A new lamp of the same model is provided free of charge. If the buyer wishes to exchange the product, he/she is responsible for any product upgrade costs that may be incurred.
  • (1)-(2) years. Limited warranty: Offer trade-ins to get new LEDs at 30%-50% off.

Voltage Alert: TS600 requires 110-120V or 220-240V. Damage from incorrect voltage is not covered. Verify before purchase.

●Non-electrical products ( and/or accessories): No warranty provided. If you receive a parcel with missing accessories or any damaged products due to logistics, contact us within 7 days for a replacement or for us to send out the missing items.

[The Warranty applies only when:]

●Sales are made through the Mars Hydro direct website, or authorized distributors or retailers, or authorized third-party platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Cdiscount, etc.

●Products are installed in applications in which ambient conditions are within the range of intended operating conditions.

  • LED grow lights – Ambient temperatures≦40℃ (104℉)
  • Inline duct fans – Ambient temperature≦30℃ (86℉); Relative humidity≦65%
  • Heat mats – Ambient temperature≦40℃ (104℉)

●Failure of the Products that is NOT a result of external causes, including acts of nature; human damage; improper or unauthorized use; or any other occurrences beyond Mars Hydro’s reasonable control. Adequate operation records must be provided

to Mars Hydro upon request to substantiate that the Products have failed to comply with the terms of this Limited Warranty.

[Please Note:]

●Discontinued Mars Hydro grow lights[“ECO”, “ PROII”, “MARSI”, “MARSII”, “REFLECTOR”, “MARSCOB”]are no longer covered by warranty; replacement parts of them are unavailable as well. Please purchase alternatives.

●No warranty for non-electrical products such as grow tents, grow bags, drying racks, ducts, etc.

●Warranty claims regarding the Products must be submitted in writing within (30) days of discovery of the defect or failure to Mars Hydro post-sales[[email protected]] or an authorized sales representative.

●Products may be required to be returned for inspection and verification of non-conformance by Mars Hydro but no Products will be accepted for inspection, verification, or return unless accompanied by a “Return Request” from Mars Hydro solution team.

●Mars Hydro reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Limited Warranty without notice provided that any such modification or discontinuance will only be effective with respect to any Products purchased after such modification or discontinuance.

[Warranty Procedure:]

Read before you submit any warranty requests. Mars Hydro Solutions Team will be at your service as soon as possible.

Contact Mars Hydro Solutions Team [[email protected]] with the following information readily prepared:

(1) Your Order information. Including your order numberpurchase platform, and order email.

(2) A detailed description of the issue with pictures and/or videos.

(3) Photos of all labels on the original box. (if preserved)

(4) Associated proof of faulty/defective products. Photos and videos will help our team to provide a faster warranty service.

[Substitute-Lighting Service:]

There may be times when your plants need lighting so badly that you cannot return a working LED grow light to Mars Hydro for inspection and repair, and Mars Hydro will provide you with temporary substitute lighting to carry out the warranty procedure without suspending your plant’s growth.

(1) A deposit will be charged for the substitute lighting.

(2) You will be responsible for the round-trip expenses of the substitute lighting.

(3) The substitute shall be returned in one week after receiving the repaired light.

(4) The deposit paid at the beginning will be refunded once the substitute lighting is received and is in good condition.

Shipments Issued From China: Mars Hydro ONLY offers free components/accessories within 5 years in the condition that the buyer is responsible for all the costs incurred – including shipping costs, customs costs, etc.
